Northwest Suburban Conference mainstay will join Lake Conference in 2025

Travel times and costs prompted the move to a new league with schools that have some of the state's largest enrollments.

Maple Grove High School’s athletic teams will begin competing in the Lake Conference in fall 2025, citing travel times and costs are the reason for leaving the Northwest Suburban Conference.
